Marie Flarup Kristensen (b. 1992) is a Danish visual artist who works with text, film, sculpture and installation. In her artistic work, she examines the way in which popular culture reinforces social constructions.

Often, the themes in her works deal with representations of women in literature, television and film and how fiction can shift reality and self-understanding.


She is part of Udstillingsstedet Sydhavn Station
